From my heart, for your heart

During this tender time that we all are experiencing, I feel that vibrationally, at an energy level, we are so much more aware, aligned and in sync than ever before and therefore, so much more connected to each other than ever before – as a community, as humanity.

Sending love and thoughts of hope, ease, comfort, faith, compassion, strength, resilience and well-being for everyone – the medical fraternity, those working tirelessly to find a solution, those most impacted, those who do not have access to resources, those being kind and compassionate to themselves and to others, to us all.

Reconnect to your power

The above reminds me of this very empowering quote by Abraham Hicks – “it is not your job to keep others happy and it is not their job to keep you happy”. It is your job to make yourself happy and it is their job to make themselves happy. Each one of us has the potential, the ability to feel happy through the power of our own focus, our thoughts much more than we give ourselves credit for. When you let yourself off the hook and let others off the hook too, can you imagine the deliciousness of that feeling? Two happy people savoring life coming together to further savor the awesomeness of the moments together. Can you imagine the power of that?

We are uplifters and it does feel good when we uplift others. When someone comes up to us and tells us that something that we did or said made him feel happy, we feel good. The problem arises when we start doing things for others in order for them to be happy and as time goes, we teach them to be dependent on us for their happiness. As they feel dependent on us for their happiness, their demands keep increasing and we keep giving even though we start feeling depleted. We have done two things – we have taught them to depend on us (rather than the power of their focus) and we have started resenting the very relationships we may have wanted to be of value to because now we feel we cannot give anymore. When we tell others that we cannot give anymore, more often than not they may react with anger because they are now used to getting their happiness from us. We may want them to have a different reaction. We may want them to understand where we are coming from but more often than not, this is not what we get from them in this situation.

We can’t control others (we may try and maybe we succeed with one person in the world but we can’t control them all and we do meet many people during our lifetime… trying to control them results in frustration) but we can control our thoughts. When we decide to focus on positive feeling thoughts, we allow the law of attraction to match us more with experiences which make us feel even more positive. As we practice our positive feeling thoughts throughout the day, every day, those who are around us either change to be a match to our new and improved vibrations or leave our experience and others take their place who are a match to our new vibrations. We start allowing the life experiences we desire.

Yes, it does require practice and initially, it may require gently guiding yourself to positive feeling thoughts. Feeling positive is not like a college degree that once you have it, it’s yours forever. Feeling positive is a choice you make every day, throughout the day. The suggestion is to be kind and gentle with yourself when starting to choose positive feeling thoughts over negative feeling thoughts. If you find yourself thinking negative feeling thoughts, that’s okay. You are human. The moment you are aware that you are thinking negative feeling thoughts, if you want, you can change them by distracting yourself to positive feeling thoughts. You can change your thoughts whenever you want. You never miss the bus.

Distracting yourself to “topics which are easy for you to appreciate” makes allowing more and more positive feeling moments easier on a daily basis. When you do this, that’s when you start allowing the life that you want to live – predominantly and consistently feeling positive. Anything that you want – more money, good health, a more nurturing relationship, a better career, starting a new venture, a bigger car etc. is all because you believe that you will feel better in the having of it. It is that feeling that you are targeting through that physical manifestation. If you can feel positive even though what you want has not yet manifested, what you want manifests “easily” in all its glory and the best part is that you “enjoy” the journey to living the physical manifestation that you want. That’s when you are “in the flow”. Athletes call it being in the zone. Musicians, athletes, authors, inventors, composers etc have long realized that unless they are in the flow, nothing flows.

Don’t do it for others. Do it for yourself. You can easily reconnect to your power, which was, is and always will be there for you within you.

Feel good, no matter what

“Love yourself enough, that you are willing to stop torturing yourself with negative emotion.”

– Abraham

When you love yourself, it’s easier to find the will to distract yourself from negative thoughts to thoughts which make you feel relief, which make you feel better, which make you feel good. You make the effort (initially, it can be an effort) of changing your feelings from negative to positive because you love feeling good. Anything that you want – better health, bigger car, more money, a more nurturing relationship, starting a venture, career growth etc. is because you believe that you will feel better in the having of it. It is that positive emotion that you are targeting.

You love positive emotions because that is who you are. You are pure positive energy. When you are feeling good, predominantly and consistently i.e. when you are aligned with who you truly are, predominantly and consistently, it gets even more easier to continue replacing negative thoughts as and when they occur with positive thoughts on this beautiful journey called life.

From this place of feeling good, you are at a place of strength and not a place of lack and therefore, you are of so much more value to yourself and to anyone else you would want to be of value to. You are leveraging the energy that creates worlds when you are feeling good. You “easily” flow this energy which flows to you and through you toward all that you care about.

You may be able to think of solutions from a place where you are not feeling good but those solutions will be at best, mediocre ones. The solutions which come to you from a place of strength, from a place where you are feeling good are master solutions rather than mediocre ones.

Athletes, authors, composers, artists etc. are among some of the people in the world who have long realized that until and unless they are in the flow, nothing flows. That being “in the flow” or being “in the zone” comes from a place where you are thinking good feeling thoughts.

If not for anything else, one may choose to feel good simply because it feels so good to feel good 🙂

Being in the flow

stream-pexels

“You Don’t Have to Pay a Price.

So the best thing to do whenever you feel disappointed is to just stop pushing through. Now most of the world around you would not say that.

Most of the world around you would say,

“Oh, don’t be lazy, you have to push through. Nothing good ever comes if you don’t push through.”

And we say, nothing good ever comes until you stop pushing through.

It’s just that sometimes you’ve pushed through so hard that then when you stop pushing through, you think the results came because you’ve pushed so hard.

Well that’s not why the results came – they were coming. You don’t have to pay a price for this – the price you pay slows everything down.”

– Abraham

We have been told by many over the years – “no pain, no gain”…. “you have to pay a price for what you want in life”… “sacrifices have to be made to get what you want” etc.

There is another way – which is easier and you get so much more of what you want as compared to what you can achieve through the former. A lot of people call this as being in the flow or being in the zone.

In the former, the journey will be hard and what you get will be a miniscule portion of what you could have got had the journey been easier. Why would you want to do that when you can swim downstream and also get much more of what you want?

You do not have to pay a price. You can have it all and you can have it in a way which is easy on you. All you have to do is remain committed to feeling good predominantly and consistently – not always but predominantly and consistently…from this place of feeling good, the ideas and the impulses that come to you are so much more whole as compared to the impulses you feel when you are feeling tensed or over whelmed or any other negative emotion. …..the action which you feel inspired to offering is so much more fun when it’s from a place of feeling good…. Not only does feeling good (even though what you want has not manifested yet) feel good but it also allows the law of attraction to match you up with more experiences which make you feel even more good…..it’s like when people say “I am on a winning streak” …..isn’t it awesome that the most easy way is also the most effective way?
