The most important relationship you have is with yourself

“If you do not love yourself totally, wholly, and fully, somewhere along the way you learned not to. You can unlearn it. Start being kind to yourself now.”

– Louise Hay

Babies love themselves just the way they are. Have you ever heard a baby say or rather look like they are feeling – “I don’t like my hands” or “I wish my body was different”? 🙂 . They are just so happy to be here in this life. They have this awe for themselves, for everything that they discover around them, for life. You were also like that. Some of us have managed to retain the connection to this place of love for ourselves, predominantly and consistently. Many of such people (i.e. who managed to remain connected to this place of love for themselves, no matter what) have been accused of being “stubborn” (and stubborn here being considered a negative trait or quality by those accusing) by those that did not understand how they could not look at themselves in the way the world looked at them (or a trait in them) from its place of disconnection. This is not to blame those around who saw others from a place of disconnection. They were doing the best according to their knowing and understanding. Understanding where they were coming from is important not to be kind and gentle with them (though if you want to be, that is great but typically, it does not come in one fell swoop for most people and that is okay, we are human.) but to be kind and gentle with ourselves. Understanding those who were disconnected themselves (and hence could not feel appreciation and love for others, predominantly and consistently) can lead to feeling relief and that is a place that we would want to be in – a place of feeling better.

Those of us who have lost that connection can reconnect whenever we want to and feel ready to. All it takes is a desire and depending on your readiness, you allow more and more feel-good moments on a daily basis about things which are easy for you to appreciate. When you are predominantly and consistently in this place of feeling positive emotions (or in the vicinity of them) in ways that are easy for you, chances are that you will be able to look at yourself and say – “hmm, not bad” or “there are things that I like in myself”….as you practice this good-feeling place, chances are high that (again depending on your readiness which is different for different people as we all have our own, unique, individual and beautiful journeys which I totally respect) you will reach a place where you will be able to look at yourself in the mirror and be able to, with ease and love in your heart, say “I love you” or “I love myself” or “I am so happy to be me” or “I am thrilled to be me”. As you start “feeling” these words towards yourself, initially you may find yourself having tears in your eyes. The tears here are an indicator that the process of reconnection is getting stronger as the layers of resistance/struggle/negative thoughts are being allowed to be shed by you, as per your unique and beautiful pace.

Loving yourself is not arrogance of vanity (Louise Hay said that these are from a place of fear and not love). Loving ourselves is acknowledging and appreciating the magnificent creation of life that we are. Living life from this place of love, appreciation and strength predominantly and consistently not only makes our journey easier but it also allows the law of attraction to match us with so much more which is easy to appreciate. We start living as the leading-edge creators we intended to be when we decided to come in this time-space-reality which is a great place to be in but at the same time, I would suggest don’t do it for being the leading-edge creator that you want to be, love yourself for the joy it brings to your heart, for the sense of freedom, worthiness and empowerment that it reconnects you to. Love yourself because it feels so good. Everything else that you want will be allowed more easily and in its full potential by you in your life from this place of love as that is law (the law of attraction) but my suggestion is to love yourself just for the feeling of it. Feel good because it feels so good to feel good 🙂

The secret to what you want

“The greatest gift you can give to any partner – past, present or future is to be so connected with who You-Truly-Are that they are irrelevant to your connection. And when they are irrelevant to your connection, then you are going to have a really good time together.”

– Abraham-Hicks

Who you truly are is pure positive energy. That is why you love feeling positive emotions. Negative emotions are also part of your guidance but it’s the positive emotions that you love because you are pure positive energy. Anything that you want (a better career, a more loving relationship, moving to another place, more money, better health, bigger house, starting a new venture etc) is because you believe you will feel better in the having of it. It is that positive emotion that you are targeting. And when you can show yourself that you do have the ability to feel good through the power of your focus (not always but predominantly and consistently), no matter what (even when what you want hasn’t manifested in your physical reality) – you feel good (which is the reason you want what you want) and you allow the law of attraction to match you up with more to make it easy for you to feel good even further. The journey to what you want becomes “easy” and what you want manifests in its “full potential”. You start living life as the creator you intended to be – creator of the life experiences that you desire. You reconnect to your power.

In the moments that you are connected to who you truly are, you are of so much more value to yourself and to anyone else you would want to be of value to.

Your happiness matters

You and you

lady looking in mirror Ivan Obolensky pexels

“The most important relationship in your life is the relationship you have with yourself. Because no matter what happens, you will always be with yourself.”

― Diane von Furstenberg

_______________________________

The relationship which is the most important is between you and you – the physical you (the one you can see, hear, touch – i.e. interpret with your physical senses) and the non-physical you (what you can feel but can’t see – some call it soul, some call it inner being, some call it source energy, some call it universe, some call it infinite intelligence – all are referring to the essence of who you are – pure positive energy).

When you are feeling good, no matter what, you are aligned with who you are and from this place of strength, two things happen –  firstly, you experience feel-good moments, you feel happy (which is what you want to feel) and secondly, as you continue feeling good predominantly and consistently, you allow the law of attraction to match you up with the abundance (abundance of clarity, abundance of strength, abundance of alignment, abundance of well-being, abundance of vitality, abundance of freedom, abundance of worthiness, abundance of confidence, abundance of love and appreciation, abundance of prosperity etc.) that you want  “easily” and “in its full potential”.

“One who is in alignment is more powerful than millions who are not.”

– Abraham-Hicks

Feel good, no matter what

“Love yourself enough, that you are willing to stop torturing yourself with negative emotion.”

– Abraham

____________________________________________

When you love yourself, it’s easier to find the will to distract yourself from negative thoughts to thoughts which make you feel relief, which make you feel better, which make you feel good. You make the effort (initially, it can be an effort) of changing your feelings from negative to positive because you love feeling good. Anything that you want – better health, bigger car, more money, a more nurturing relationship, starting a venture, career growth etc. is because you believe that you will feel better in the having of it. It is that positive emotion that you are targeting.

You love positive emotions because that is who you are. You are pure positive energy. When you are feeling good, predominantly and consistently i.e. when you are aligned with who you truly are, predominantly and consistently, it gets even more easier to continue replacing negative thoughts as and when they occur with positive thoughts on this beautiful journey called life.

From this place of feeling good, you are at a place of strength and not a place of lack and therefore, you are of so much more value to yourself and to anyone else you would want to be of value to. You are leveraging the energy that creates worlds when you are feeling good. You “easily” flow this energy which flows to you and through you toward all that you care about.

You may be able to think of solutions from a place where you are not feeling good but those solutions will be at best, mediocre ones. The solutions which come to you from a place of strength, from a place where you are feeling good are master solutions rather than mediocre ones.

Athletes, authors, composers, artists etc. are among some of the people in the world who have long realized that until and unless they are in the flow, nothing flows. That being “in the flow” or being “in the zone” comes from a place where you are thinking good feeling thoughts.

If not for anything else, one may choose to feel good simply because it feels so good to feel good 🙂

The vibrational place from where the action is inspired is more important than the action itself

smilies-pixabay-pexels.jpg

“The rule of thumb is, you never take action when there is negative emotion within you because it is always counterproductive. Always talk to yourself until you feel better and then follow the inspired action that comes from that open valve.”

– Abraham

If you can’t find anyway to soothe yourself with regard to a particular topic that you are feeling negative emotion around, you can always use the power of distraction. Distraction is powerful. You can choose to distract yourself to something else which you find easy to appreciate. As you feel better, you can focus more on topics which you feel good about. As you focus and feel better predominantly and consistently, more often than not, you will find that the specific topic which was painful to you earlier is no longer painful. Due to the new vibrational place you are in now, you may not feel pain while thinking about that topic.

If it is still painful, chances are high that from this place of feeling happy predominantly and consistently, you will be able to look at what was painful earlier, in a way which makes you feel better about it. From this place of feeling better and stronger, the action which you feel inspired to offer, with regard to that topic, will be of so much more of value to you and to anyone else you would want it to be of value to.

Fear or hope?

lady-in-cave-pexels-unsplash

“May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.”

–  Nelson Mandela

___________________________

The vibrational place (in other words, the emotional place) from where you are focused on a particular situation will determine both – the action you feel inspired to offering and also the further life experiences you allow the law of attraction to match you up with. Thoughts which make you feel better, which make you feel relief, which make it easier for you to feel hope are different from thoughts which make you feel doubt or fear or any other negative emotion. You can choose in any moment which thoughts you would like to focus on. You always have a choice.

Problems have value because if there were no problems, we would not seek solutions and therefore, we would not move forward, expand and grow. For the purpose of expansion, problems or questions have value but when one is all warped up in the problem, it’s difficult to see the solution and even if one does find a solution, at best, it is a mediocre one. In order to create as the master creators that we are, its important to be at the periphery of the problem – not so warped up in it that you can’t see the answers you are seeking.

When giving attention to a problem, one can choose to focus on it by being aware of it and then moving one’s focus onto the desire that is being inspired within because of the problem i.e. onto the solution or the answer. As one moves one’s focus to the desire that life has caused to be inspired within, it easier to feel relief and then hope.

Sometimes, it seems difficult to focus on the solution as the problem feels big. The suggestion then is to focus on any other topic which is easy to appreciate and feel good about. This helps in distracting oneself from thinking about the problem. When feeling better predominantly and consistently, chances are high that one will feel ready to focus on the problem one is facing from a solution oriented approach.

You are both physical and non-physical at the same time

“Some say that you should not want money at all because the desire for money is materialistic and not Spiritual. But we want you to remember that you are here in this very physical world where Spirit has materialized. You cannot separate yourself from the aspect of yourself that is Spiritual, and while you are here in these bodies, you cannot separate yourselves from that which is physical or material. All of the magnificent things of a physical nature that are surrounding you are Spiritual in nature.”
