Happy Thanksgiving!

Affirming that you have many moments throughout the day everyday where you easily find thoughts of appreciation and love 🙂

“Let your dominant intent be to feel good which means be playful, have fun, laugh often, look for reasons to appreciate and practice the art of appreciation. And as you practice it, the universe who has been watching you practice will give you constant opportunities to express it. So that your life just gets better and better and better.”

The vibrational place from where the action is inspired is more important than the action itself

smilies-pixabay-pexels.jpg

“The rule of thumb is, you never take action when there is negative emotion within you because it is always counterproductive. Always talk to yourself until you feel better and then follow the inspired action that comes from that open valve.”

– Abraham

If you can’t find anyway to soothe yourself with regard to a particular topic that you are feeling negative emotion around, you can always use the power of distraction. Distraction is powerful. You can choose to distract yourself to something else which you find easy to appreciate. As you feel better, you can focus more on topics which you feel good about. As you focus and feel better predominantly and consistently, more often than not, you will find that the specific topic which was painful to you earlier is no longer painful. Due to the new vibrational place you are in now, you may not feel pain while thinking about that topic.

If it is still painful, chances are high that from this place of feeling happy predominantly and consistently, you will be able to look at what was painful earlier, in a way which makes you feel better about it. From this place of feeling better and stronger, the action which you feel inspired to offer, with regard to that topic, will be of so much more of value to you and to anyone else you would want it to be of value to.

Do only what you feel good about

“Follow your bliss and do what you love. We tend to do what we think we should do, rather than what our heart tells us to do.

Do what makes your heart sing!”

And if there is something that you feel you have to do (even though you do not want to do it), you may choose to feel differently about it before doing it. You can refocus or redirect your thoughts on that topic so that you feel better about it before offering any action. Incase you cannot feel better about it, the suggestion is do not do it… at least not until you can feel better about it.

Action is important but more important is the vibrational place from where it is offered. When you are feeling powerless, you feel like doing a particular action. When you are feeling angry, there is another kind of action which you feel like carrying out. When you are feeling hope, there is yet another kind of action which you feel inspired to and when you are feeling love and appreciation, there is another kind of action which you feel like doing. So, the action has value but what is more important is the vibrational place from where it is offered.

Sometimes, the reality we are living is so uncomfortable that we cannot feel good about it as of now. In that situation, one can choose to carry out an action which makes it easier to distract oneself from the reality and to feel good. At some point, when one is ready, one can look at the reality and choose to focus upon it in way which makes one feel better about it. Choosing the vibrational path of least resistance is always better than the action path of least resistance but I do see situations in which choosing the action path of least resistance seems to be better in the present moment.

The law of attraction states “like attracts like” i.e. what you are thinking and thereby feeling on a topic attracts more to feel the same. If you would like experiences which make you feel good to come more often your way, you would want to feel good in the now. You always have a choice.

The most easy thing to do is the most effective too

How can I stand in the middle of what I don’t want and attract what I WANT instead???

Sharing a post from the blog – joypassiondesire

“How do I stand in the place of lack and not see it? How do I look through eyes that can’t see clearly, and not acknowledge that I can’t see clearly? How do I sit within a budget that isn’t big enough to pay my rent, and bask in the freedom of financial independence? How do you do it?

By looking for the positive aspects of where you stand. By being willing to talk about what you want and why you want it, and by filling your day so full of that sort of conversation, that that surpasses your attention of lack. By just tipping ever so slightly the balance of your scale, your vibrational scale, your vibrational point of attraction. By saying “It is so important to me to feel good, that I will have this conversation with this friend rather than that friend. Because that friend complains all the time, and this friend is happy. By driving this way to work, even though it takes a little more time, because it is more beautiful, and because I can hear the birds. Rather than taking this route to work because it is faster, but all I can hear is the traffic that is surrounding me.”

In other words when it becomes your dominant intent to feel good, you find yourself finding very obvious ways to do things a little bit differently, that stimulate you to vibrate in a way… In other words it’s a vicious circle of joy! Or it is a chain of pain, you can have it either way, you see. But whatever you’re vibrating is what you’re going to attract. And whatever you attract is usually what you perceive. And whatever you perceive is what you vibrate. And whatever you vibrate is what you attract. And whatever you attract is what you perceive, and what you perceive is what… And so that is the way that it works, you see.

And so somewhere along here, you vibrate and you say, “Ugh, this feels bad! I want to feel good.” And just by making the statement “I want to feel good”, a piece of you has spun off that negative wheel, and it started another little wheel over here. Just a piece of you, “I want to feel good”, just by saying I want to feel good, your Inner Being will begin feeding information to you that will surprise and delight you.”

The value of being prudent about the people in your life

women laughing

Sharing a very empowering excerpt from Dr Christiane Northrup’s book “Goddesses never age”…
_________________________

“And when it comes to your tribe, be judicious about who is in it. The people around you can help you reconnect to the life force and flourish or they can drain you and depress you….

You have to turn the volume down on some relationships, or even let go of them and commit to bringing in new people into your life who will be more supportive of you. The good news is that the universe will provide you with new members of your “tribe”, sometimes in the most extraordinary ways. Once you make the change inside of you, your energy will shift; those who resonate with you energetically will gravitate your way and those who don’t will start to fall away. Years after transforming the way I practiced and thought about medicine, I find that I am a magnet for people who believe in inspiring women to experience wellness through feeling connected with their joy and their life force. I regularly meet people I want to add to my tribe.

There are people who truly want to vibrate at a higher frequency and be happier and lighter in mood and attitude. But some people who will be attracted to your lightness of being will bring to the table their old, negative emotional patterns. They will love what they get from you, but they will drain you because they are not committed to becoming lighter themselves. They are emotional vampires. You might not realize that they are sucking you dry because they seem to be so nice and supportive at first. They may not realize what they are doing to you. But in time, you will see that whenever you interact with them, you come away feeling as if someone just took a pint of blood from you. I have felt as though I had to get down on the floor and go to sleep after interacting with certain individuals. In fact, sometimes I feel this way just from reading an e-mail from one of them! Those people are mostly gone from my life at this point but it sure took a while to figure out this pattern.

As you begin to tap into your own vitality, you have to be cautious about letting people drain it out of you as quickly as you fill yourself up. Encourage family and friends who want what you have got to get it for themselves and stop seeing you as their source.

In fact, people can energetically hook into you so strongly that if you stop, focus and tune in, you can actually sense the cord of energy that goes out to them from you.”
