It’s not your job to make others happy and it’s not their job to make you happy. Your happiness is your job and their happiness is their job. You can find happiness on your own, through the power of your focus and so can they. Whenever you feel ready, you can choose to focus on topics which give you pain in a way which makes it easier for you to feel relief and so can others. This is true freedom.

It’s not your job

If you want to uplift others, the only way you have of doing it in a way which will be easy for you is by being at a higher vibration yourself. When you are happy yourself, that is the only way you are of value to yourself and to anyone else you would want to be of value to. So you see someone feeling bad and you feel that by empathizing with them (by feeling their pain), you will make them feel better. As you do so, you find that you bring your vibrations down to theirs. Now you have two people feeling bad and there is nothing of value to anyone in this.

If you want to help others, it’s important that your focus is on the solution and not the problem. The frequency of the solution is very different from the frequency of the problem. Yes, that focus requires practice. If you really want to be of value to anyone (including yourself), then that practice is worth it.

And, in all this it’s helpful to remember that uplifting others is not your responsibility. The word “responsibility” feels like a burden. If you use “joy” and “fun” as your reason for doing something rather than “responsibility”, it will always feel better and be of value to you and to anyone else you would want it to be of value to.

If you really want to do something (or have to do something) and you can’t feel joy, then the suggestion is to start “focusing” on what you want to (or feel that you need to) do in a way that makes you feel a little better about it. Everyday, as you do so, you will find that the way you feel about that particular topic does not any longer give you as much pain as it did earlier. Even within just seven days of focusing on that topic in a way which makes you feel relief, you would have brought about a substantial difference in your vibrations on that topic. You would have changed the way you feel about it by focusing on anything (even if its just one thing that you find) which you can appreciate about it. If you can’t find anything to appreciate in it, then the suggestion is don’t do it. Not till the time you have changed the way you feel about it.

Yes, action is important but more important is action from which vibrational place. When you feel despair, you feel like doing a particular kind of action. When you feel anger, there is another kind of action which you feel like doing. When you feel hope there is yet another kind of action which is inspired from within you and when you feel love, there is another kind of action which you feel like doing. So, the vibrational place needs to be aligned first and then the action inspired from that new vibrational place can be taken up.

The law of attraction states “like attracts like” which means that what you are feeling attracts more to feel the same. So, it’s important that if you want positive experiences as far as a particular topic in your life is concerned, you feel positive about it as of now.

Manifesting abundance in your life

These are some of the phrases which you may have heard while you were growing up. They do seem fairly harmless. Some of them may have seemed true to you and therefore, you adopted them in your psyche either consciously or unconsciously.

These harmless thoughts repeated in your mind over a period of time become beliefs and since you also see that the experiences you have match up to the beliefs you hold so the beliefs make so much sense to you. You say “look I told you so, this is the way things are”. It’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

These beliefs start impacting your view of the world and since our thoughts affect our feelings and our feelings affect our reality according to the law of attraction, what if these beliefs are affecting your reality? The way to find out is look at your reality. If it’s what you want, then things are good but if your reality is not what you want, then you may like to consider the contribution your beliefs are making towards your reality.

Once you are aware of the hurdle in living the life you want, then you can always take steps to change them. There are many ways to clear up the clogged pipes or the negative beliefs and thereby, open the floodgates to the abundance which you want in your life and when I say abundance, I mean abundance of not only money but also abundance of clarity, abundance of confidence, abundance of empowerment, abundance of appreciation, abundance of freedom. When you feel abundance, the manifestations (including money) which match up to your feelings have to come. It is law. It is the law of attraction and it states “like attracts like”.

One of the most powerful and easy ways is to focus on things or people or experiences or topics which are easy to appreciate for you. When you do this, you feel better. As you continue finding moments during the day wherein you deliberately focus and feel better, soon you will find yourself feeling good many times during the day. You will then find the strength to distract yourself whenever you are feeling negative and instead focus on that which makes you feel what you want to feel i.e. good. As you continue on this path, you will then start allowing more and more experiences, in your reality, which will match upto your new vibrations i.e. experiences which make you feel even more good.

As you find yourself in a new place of strength, you can then start changing your beliefs by practicing affirmations, on a daily basis, which match the life you want to create. Affirmations are positive statements. There are a few affirmations below. You may like to choose the ones which resonate most with you at that point of time.

“I love and appreciate all the good I have in my life”
“I am divinely blessed with abundance”
“The universe supports me”
“The universe has my back”
“All is well”
“I attract prosperity in my life”
“My wealth is constantly increasing”
“I love myself”
“I love my life and my life loves me”

As you start practicing the affirmations above on an everyday basis, you start to change the self-limiting beliefs which may have been present earlier. You then start moving closer to the reality you want to create in your life.

There are many people in this world who despite the recession/ bad economy that may be prevailing in their country are experiencing abundance in their lives. They have a larger share in the abundance pie and these are people who have discovered the power of their thoughts behind the reality they live. Others may look at their lives and say “oh, they are lucky” or “it’s a miracle” or something else but these people now know “how to” manifest or increase the abundance in their lives by believing what they want to believe rather than what they have heard from others.

Instead of arguing with someone who is not getting (or will not get, as of now) the point you are trying to make (or trying to convince someone who refuses to see your point), it’s better to let it go…nothing is worth your feeling good…

The way you focus on the situation makes a difference to the way you feel about it and the way you feel about it, attracts more to feel the same according to the law of attraction. It’s the energy you are sending out there. The best part is that you have complete control over the way you focus.
