It was a pleasant surprise to see a like from David Eagleman himself on a post on my Life Coaching with Sonal page on Facebook last week. In the post, I had shared an article titled “Seeing with the brain” (which I shared on twitter as well as on this blog). This article was from the blog “thebestbrainpossible.com” and it was about David Eagleman’s phenomenal book “Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain” in which he writes about how we can see with the brain ..i.e. how vision is learned. David Eagleman is a neuroscientist, NYT bestselling author, Guggenheim Fellow, and creator of the PBS series THE BRAIN.
I am sharing his TED talk below which is one of the best Ted talks I have ever seen. You can see, in his eyes, the passion he has for the awesome work he is doing.
“You do not have a soul. You are a soul. What you have is a body.”
This is a controversial quote by C.S. Lewis (many people say Lewis never said that). Despite the controversy, I love this quote.
