Loving yourself just the way you are has value

Some may say – “if I accept myself and love myself just the way I am, I will never grow into more! I will never feel the desire to grow and expand more as per my potential! I may just get stuck where I am.” I totally understand and respect where these thoughts are coming from. It may seem like that but you can always grow into more with love in your heart. For example, if you are unwell, you can regain your health with mostly, hope in your heart or with mostly, helplessness. What you are feeling predominantly and consistently (not always but predominantly and consistently) during your recovery will make a world of a difference to the results you get. Now even science is recognizing something healers across the centuries knew – the mind-body connection.

We are ever-evolving beings. “More” is our essence and you can move towards the more that you want with love in your heart for life, for yourself. As Abraham-Hicks say, the best vibrational place to be in – “deeply satisfied where you are and eager for more”. Of course, when you are focused on a topic which makes it tempting for you to feel negative emotion, to have a knee-jerk reaction – that negative emotion helps you in giving birth to new desires and/or amending earlier desires and therefore, even though it may be painful, it has value as it leads to more clarity for you (of what you do not want and therefore, of what you want). At the same time, coming to know or realizing that you don’t have to unhappy where you are in order to want more can be so empowering. It’s about being at a place where you are already feeling the emotions that you want to feel, predominantly and consistently and from there, you want more – more clarity, more moments of confidence, more ideas, more understanding of your beingness, more flowing of thought from a place of feeling positive emotions, more kind people, more abundance, more insight, more moments of unconditional alignment/happiness, more unconditional love towards yourself and for others……

While allowing more of what we want in our lives, it could happen that some of us may feel moments where we are overwhelmed. It is okay to feel moments like this as we are human. It’s of value to be kind and gentle with ourselves. The feeling of being overwhelmed is an indicator that you feel that you have lots to do and have not lined up energy before offering action. If this happens, the suggestion is to soothe yourself and/or distract yourself to something which is easy for you to appreciate. As you feel better (in ways which are easy for you to feel relief), you line up energy and then you can offer the action you feel inspired to offer from that place of alignment/ strength rather than from the earlier place of lack.

You may have noticed that when you feel overwhelmed, you also feel an impulse to take a break or rest which is you listening to your inner guidance (as that period of rest helps in you feeling the relief that you so much want to feel when overwhelmed). You may have also noticed after resting for some time, you start feeling bored and again feel the desire/impulse to do something – this is because our essence (i.e. “more”) calls us… the universe is ever-expanding into more and we are part of the universe so that is our essence too. Of course, all of us have the freedom to choose the more that we want – some may like more ease at the particular point that they are in vibrationally like for example, relaxing at the beach and some like more thrill like being on a roller coaster (both are positive frequencies/vibrations/feelings but are different from each other) and that is so empowering – i.e. the freedom to choose…As Abraham-Hicks say – “you are so free, you can choose bondage”…

When we are happy where we are, when we make peace with where we are (even though we may not have liked it to start with) we allow the more that we want (from where we are) to manifest in our lives “easily” and in its “full potential”. This reminds me of the book title – “Good to Great” by Jim Collins. From good to great and then from great to even greater and so on – ever-expanding into more, always at the leading edge of one’s potential. It is not the only way to live what we want but it is an easy and effective way to live the life experiences that we want, predominantly and consistently.

If you can find ease, if you can connect to the well-being within you and surrounding you, if you can feel relief, if you can feel good, if you can love and appreciate yourself just the way you are, if you can focus in a way which makes you feel positive emotions – you start living life as you intended to live – in a place of joy, freedom, love, appreciation and worthiness, predominantly and consistently. Not that you will never have moments of negative emotion (these moments have value as you give birth to new desires and/or amend your previous desires when you are in a place of negative emotion – when you see illness, you want to see health; when you see poverty, you want to see prosperity; when you see a rude person, you want to see a kind person – moments of negative emotion help you know what you “do not want” and therefore, what you “do want” in a much more stronger, clearer way than before that moment of negative emotion and that clarity helps you in the process of allowing the kind of life experiences that you want….negative emotions may be painful but have value) but because of your practice on a daily basis (i.e. focusing on positive feeling thoughts), chances are high that you would have managed to acquire vibrational muscle and therefore, managed to tilt the balance towards positive feeling thoughts on a more predominant and consistent basis.

The law of attraction states – “like attracts like”. When you focus mostly on thoughts which make it easy for you to feel good, you feel positive emotions, predominantly and consistently and when you are in a place of positive emotions more than negative emotions on a daily basis, you allow this powerful law to match you up with more to feel good. You may be aware of the problems that you feel you have but because of this place of feeling good more often (i.e. a place of strength), you will be able to focus on your problems with a solution-oriented approach. The feeling or the frequency of the solution is different from the frequency of the problem. You want the solution to your problem because you feel that in the having of the solution, you will feel better. It is that feeling that you believe you will feel once you have the solution that you are really targeting (through the solution). If you can feel better even though the solution has not yet manifested, you allow it to manifest easily and in all its glory. Even if you can feel positive emotions 55% of the time on a daily basis, you would have managed to bring about a substantial change in your vibrations and therefore, of what manifests in your life.

If you are at 107.9 FM and want to listen to 106.7 FM, you have to change the dial. The frequencies are different. In the same way, the frequency of the problem (i.e. what you feel when you focus on just the problem) and the frequency of the solution are different. If you want the solution, you may consider feeling the same frequency or in the vicinity of that frequency. You may be aware of the problem but from the periphery so that you are not so wrapped up in it that you can’t see the solution. When you practice being in the same or similar frequency of the solution that you want, you allow the law of attraction to match you up with ideas, impulses and rendezvouses which allow the solution to be realized by you, the words you feel inspired to offer are from a place of being a match to the solution you want, the path lights up. You reconnect to your power.

Choosing feel-good thoughts is a practice, no doubt but just like learning a new skill or a computer program, it gets easier as you go along. By initially practicing thinking about topics which are easy for you to feel good about, you make this process of acquiring “vibrational muscle” easier. When you are mostly in this good-feeling place every day (not always but predominantly and consistently…as written earlier, pain has value as it helps you expand and grow beyond what you were before you felt it …at the same time, positive feeling emotions are what you want to feel more often as that is who you are – pure positive energy…you like it when you feel worthy, love, appreciation, joy, free as these emotions or feelings or frequencies are what your essence is – pure, positive energy), chances are high that you will be able to look at any topic (even if it was painful for you earlier) in a way which makes you feel better and thereby, see the solution “easily”. In most situations, you will see that because of your new and improved vibrational place, the topic which was painful has resolved itself as you have allowed the law of attraction to match you up with the solution but just in case it hasn’t, chances are high that now you will be able to look at it in a way which makes you feel relief, in a solution-oriented way. The suggestion here would be to look at a topic which was painful in a different way only when you feel ready to do so. It’s your own beautiful, unique, individual journey.

By feeling positive emotions predominantly and consistently, you are “in the flow” or what athletes call “being in the zone” (or in its vicinity) more often on an everyday basis and by doing so, you allow yourself to become a match to the solutions you want in a way which is easy and allows the full potential of the solution to be realized by you. You allow yourself to be the creator that you intended to be. You can allow the more that you want in your life with hope, ease and optimism (and as you move forward practicing your focus and therefore feeling positive emotions more often – eagerness, enthusiasm, appreciation…) in your heart. You may not be able to feel absolutely enthusiastic when you begin practicing your focus but even if you can feel just a little bit better every day from where you are, it makes the journey much easier. You have a good time not only when you allow the manifestation you want in your life in all its glory but you also have a good time on the way to that manifestation. Feeling positive emotions, wherever you are, has value.

Joy all the way

______________________

The destination (or manifestation of the specific desire that you have) is important but it’s the fun of the ride that you really want. When the destination becomes more important than the journey to it, the fun reduces. If it was just the destination that you wanted, once you would have reached there, you would not want anything else but you savor your destination for some time and then, you again have another destination (another desire) that you want (and another ride that you start). The journey is eternal. There will always be more and once you know that, you can feel ease with this eternalness and thereby, easily allow more feel-good moments while on the way to what you want. Makes the journey easier and also allows what you want to manifest in its full glory.

What you want is because you believe you will feel better in the having of it – whether it is money, a more loving relationship, health, starting a business, a promotion at work, a bigger car etc. It is that feeling that you are targeting through the specific desire that you have. Why save all the joy only for the last part i.e. when it manifests in your physical reality when you can allow joy not only in the manifestation but also on the way to it? Why limit the joy in your life when you can so easily feel it in the here and now even if what you want hasn’t manifested? You can do so in many ways – meditation, a walk next to nature, indulging in a hobby, speaking with a trustworthy and supportive friend, napping (yes 🙂 ), a warm relaxing bath, a soothing massage, daily lists of appreciation about topics which are easy for you to appreciate, feeling affirmations and visualizations (general or specific, depending on your readiness)…. – depending on the resonance you feel, you can choose one or more than one way out of these (or ways similar to these, ways which make it easy for you to feel better, to feel ease, to have a spring in your step, a song in your heart) to allow yourself to feel positive emotions on a daily basis.

You are pure positive energy. That is why you love feeling positive emotions (of course, moments of negative emotion have value as they facilitate growth and expansion beyond what you have been before but since they are painful, you would want to reduce them and increase the moments in which you are feeling joy, appreciation, love, worthy, free, empowered and other positive emotions…you would want to tip the balance towards positive emotions) and when you realize that you can allow more and more feel-good moments on a daily basis, you may want to consider it. You have the ability to feel positive emotions predominantly and consistently and when you show yourself that you can do so, no matter what – you reconnect to your freedom. As you practice allowing feel-good moments throughout the day everyday in ways which are easy for you, ways which resonate with you depending on where you are – you develop vibrational muscle. It is a practice even for people who feel ecstasy on a rather regular basis. Yes, it gets easier as you go along but it is still a practice (a choice) on a moment to moment basis.

As it gets easier for you, you become good at allowing more and more joyful moments on a daily basis and thereby, you allow the law of attraction to match you up with more life experiences which are in the same or similar frequency i.e. which make you even more joy. The better it gets, the better it gets. You start living life from a place of strength, just the way you intended to live when you decided to come in this time-space-reality.

As long as you “know” that you have desires and that those desires can be, you will live them. Of course, initially, it all starts with just feeling good focusing on topics which make it easier for you to feel good. Once you start seeing the positive manifestations in your life, however small, because of what you are predominantly and consistently feeling, you start expecting good things to come your way. As you go further this path, you start believing and then you “know”….

Reconnecting to the strength within

woman arms raised looking at the sun - Catherine McMahon

“In other words, nothing is more annoying than to see someone happy when you’re not. Nothing is more annoying than to see someone living the life you want to live when you are not living it, and , even worse, crowing about it: “Oh, let me tell you how good my life.” “Let’s not go there”, you say.

We don’t want you to compare yourself with anybody else. We just want you to have a comparative awareness of whether this thought that you’re thinking right now is upstream or downstream. And do you know why? Because this thought that you are thinking right now is your point of attraction. This is the thought that you are thinking right now that your life is becoming an indicator of.”

______________________

Sometimes there is a phase or a series of phases in our lives (not in everyone’s as a rule but in many people’s lives) when things are not going the way we want them to, when we are feeling low and when our reality is far from what we want.

At that time, when we look around and find friends/colleagues/family members/ strangers etc happy with their lives, we are angry. This is not because we don’t want good for them but because we are not feeling good and we suddenly become aware that there are others who are enjoying what we so much want for ourselves i.e. to be happy and the awareness of the absence of what we want can make us unhappy.

At that point, if some well meaning friend or some Abraham inspired life coach or a positive person comes along and says “all is well”, all we want to say is “yes, sure, come and see my life and you will know that all is NOT well”. Then he/she says “you need to feel happy in order to get things which make you more happy” and you are like “who is telling you all this nonsense?” Then she/he says “Life is good” and you find yourself rolling your eyes saying “which world do you live in?”…and so on…you get the point I am trying to make?

When you are feeling low, what you want to so desperately want is to feel good but often it’s too much of a stretch considering where you are (and how long you have been in that low feeling state). This is not the time for you to jump into a state of bliss (even if that is what you want). Instead what you could do is try and feel a “little bit” better. That’s all. Trying to go from a feeling of anger to a feeling of optimism is a slow process. After all you did not go from feeling good to feeling anger in one day so coming back to feeling good usually will also take time. It’s an incremental process.

In times like this, distraction helps a lot. Distraction has power and the suggestion is to distract yourself in the few moments during the day when you are feeling a little relief from your pain (emotional or physical or both). So for example, if you have a painful illness or that you are experiencing the pain of being betrayed by your life partner or that you finances are not what you would want them to be or your career is not going the way you want – it could be any of these or something else wherein you are feeling pain. You need to be aware of the moments as the day goes wherein the pain lessens a little bit and you need to catch those moments and distract yourself to something which is easy to appreciate for you (it could be a beautiful holiday you took with your parents in your childhood or that recognition you got in your office or your child’s smile, petting your pet etc). The need is to stretch that moment of relief to as much as you can. As you consistently and consciously do this on an everyday basis, you will find yourself experiencing more of what you want to feel. At a stage wherein you are feeling stronger, then you can come back to the topic/subject of pain for you and find something to appreciate in that also.

The question can arise as to why do you need to find something to appreciate in what has given you pain?

Well, you can continue to feel low, be sarcastic, be defensive, be cynical, harbor hatred, be envious etc but till the time you make peace with the subject that you feel so much pain in, you will find a pattern occurring in your life. The people could be different, the situations could be different, the experiences could be different but the pain would be same. You can continue to feel low/angry/envy/sarcasm etc but the law of attraction will bring you experiences which match your feelings and therefore, you will continue to feel the same. The law of attraction states “like attracts like”. What one is feeling attracts more to feel the same. i.e. if one is feeling good, more experiences manifest which make the person feel even more good and if one is feeling negative, more experiences manifest which make the person feel even more negative.

What you want to feel is not negative emotion but it is joy, freedom, empowerment, love, appreciation, optimism and in order for you to feel what you want, you will have to change your feelings before the experiences can change in your life. Once you make peace with that particular topic (it could be freedom, money, abundance, relationships, marriage, children, parents, death etc), you change your feelings about that topic and then the universe gives you more experiences which match your new vibration.

You make peace with that topic which caused you pain by deliberately finding things to appreciate in and around it. It does look like an effort initially but since you have taken out the time and made the effort of distracting yourself consistently, chances are high that you will be strong enough to find something to appreciate in that specific topic which you found painful. Incase you still feel that you are not strong enough to appreciate the painful topic, you may like to give yourself more time and continue distracting yourself and creating better feeling moments. You may consider anger release and forgiveness exercises which resonate with you.

Once you are feeling strong, you can make “lists of appreciation” around that particular topic which caused you pain. You can focus on what came out of that pain and the lessons you learn’t because of it. You will be writing a new story of that pain. The lists can also be full of appreciation for other things in your life which are going the way you want them to go. If you can appreciate many times during a day, you will create “pockets of appreciation” throughout the day for yourself. When you will be in these pockets of appreciation, you will feel relief from the pain, feel better and most important you would have changed your vibration around that topic. The next time you focus on that topic, you will feel a much more positive vibration.

As you deliberately start creating moments in which you feel better on an everyday basis, you will soon find the experiences in your life changing to match upto your new feelings. Initially, you may find small things working out for you like three green traffic lights in a row or meeting a friend you like and had been thinking about for sometime. We call these coincidences but there is nothing like co-incidence. We “co”-create what we then call “co”-incidences. A lot of times, we co create unconsciously i.e. by default. The process described above will help in co creating consciously and when you know “how to” create the experiences you want, you can always replicate the process for anything that you want.

As you notice these wonderful experiences happening in your life and are able to correlate them to what you are doing consciously and deliberately on a daily basis, you will feel motivated to carry on this path and then you will slowly realise the powerful creator that you are. From this place of strength, it will be easier for your desires to manifest in your reality. You will then stop living life reactively and start living it proactively and people around you who are looking at your life will call you “lucky”, little knowing that now you are the “deliberate creator” you always intended to be.

It’s crucial to change what we are offering vibrationally to the universe in order to change the manifestations (or reality) in our lives and the best thing is that “we can” change our vibrations, if we want to. To quote Abraham again –

“And here’s the most important thing that we want you to hear about that: Because you moved to a different vibrational vantage point, the manifestational evidence has to shift, too. So, in the moment that you make the effort to do that, all things in the universe regarding that subject respond to the new vibration that you’re offering.

So, that’s the day you get an idea that pays off to you. That’s the day you rendezvous with somebody who has something to offer you- and you have something to offer them- and you exchange something financially, as a result of it. In other words, that little bit of effort- you couldn’t see it because its not like driving a car toward a destination, but you felt it, so you knew it: and because you felt it, you kept it up, and you kept it up, and you kept it up, and you kept it up….and pretty soon you don’t just hope that you’ll have abundance- you don’t just believe it- you know it, because the evidence is so emphatically surrounding you.

Just thought by thought by thought by thought by thought by thought by thought, you clean it up, clean it up, clean it up, clean it up. What do we mean by “clean it up”? You tell the way you want it to be, and tell less the way you don’t want it to be. You stop facing reality and you start creating reality.”

“The reason you want every single thing that you want, is because you think you will feel really good when you get there. But, if you don’t feel good on your way to there, you can’t get there. You have to be satisfied with what is while you’re reaching for more.”

Allow yourself to overcome fear

men in the opening of a mine

“When fear is raging in your head and heart, it is incredibly damaging. You can’t think straight. You can’t make sound decisions. You can’t be your very best. Fear prevents you from being more and having more.”

– Suze Orman
_____________________________________________

When in fear, the suggestion is to be your own best friend and soothe yourself. The moment you become aware that you are in fear, you can tell yourself things like – “take a deep breath. Relax. It’s okay. This too shall pass. It will be okay. Help is on its way. I am sure things will get better….”

Once feeling better, you may like to carry out the action inspired from within you from that place of feeling better. When in fear, the suggestion is not to do anything but just soothe yourself to a better feeling place when you can.

The suggestion also is to deliberately create more feel good moments through the day every day so that fewer experiences which make you feel fear come your way. The best way to take care of fear is before it comes. What do I mean? I mean “pre paving” or “pre programming” your life. When you deliberately create more feel good moments on a daily basis, you allow the law of attraction to match you up with more feel good moments and thereby, you reduce moments in which you feel any negative emotion in your life. That is when the coincidences and the serendipities in life start being the way you would like them to be – i.e. giving you more to feel what you want to feel (and less of what you do not want to feel). You are the creator on your life and you can manifest what you want.
