Happy Thanksgiving!

Affirming that you have many moments throughout the day everyday where you easily find thoughts of appreciation and love 🙂

“Let your dominant intent be to feel good which means be playful, have fun, laugh often, look for reasons to appreciate and practice the art of appreciation. And as you practice it, the universe who has been watching you practice will give you constant opportunities to express it. So that your life just gets better and better and better.”

I’am going to be happy – no matter what

pexels-laughing child indian - Surajith S.

“We are really advocates of just getting as happy as you can be — which takes care of everything.

Even if you don’t have reason to be happy — make it up. Fantasize it.

Make a decision that you’re going to be happy one way or another — no matter what.

No matter what, I’m going to be happy! If I have to ignore everybody;

if I have to never watch television again;

if I have to never pick up a newspaper again, I’m going to be happy.

If I never have to see that person’s face again, I’m going to be happy.

If I have to see that person’s face, I’m going to find something to see in that person’s face that makes me happy.

I’m going to be happy.

I’m going to be happy.

I’m going to be happy.”

Off course, the “inner work” is to reach a point wherein no matter what your physical reality is, you feel happy but if you are not able to feel happy while in your current physical reality, then are you supposed to tolerate your negative emotions till you wither away?

No! You can get some distance between that which pains you and you. In that time and space that you get, you can sharpen your focus till the time you are able to focus on any topic (even if it was painful to you earlier) and find something in it to feel better about it (it can be but need not be enthusiastically happy…. just feeling better is awesome too while on your path to feeling good about it) i.e. you achieve stability in your good feeling thoughts. As you do that, you reconnect to your invincibility, to your freedom. The power which creates worlds flows through you. In fact, it is you.

Yes, sometimes, because of the way we are focused on a situation, we cannot feel positive emotion. There is nothing wrong in it. We are human and we need to be easy on ourselves. Negative emotion always tells us that we have grown but have not gone ahead with our growth. Whenever we feel upto it, we can change the way we are focused on it and thereby taste true freedom – i.e. free to feel whatever emotion we want to feel irrespective of what is happening around us. Sometimes, choosing to distance oneself from what is painful helps in reaching this place of strength and therefore, is the path of least resistance (it need not be but sometimes, it is and only you know that by the way you feel about it). From this place of strength, we are of value to ourselves and to anyone else we may want to be of value to.

Are you holding on even though it’s painful?

Lady back - Ocean - Yaoqi LAI

The path of least resistance has value…

“There are a lot of people in your life that you’re holding there as if you need to prove it to yourself that you can get along with anybody, when the reality of it is that the path of least resistance doesn’t include most of them.”

How can I stand in the middle of what I don’t want and attract what I WANT instead???

Sharing a post from the blog – joypassiondesire

“How do I stand in the place of lack and not see it? How do I look through eyes that can’t see clearly, and not acknowledge that I can’t see clearly? How do I sit within a budget that isn’t big enough to pay my rent, and bask in the freedom of financial independence? How do you do it?

By looking for the positive aspects of where you stand. By being willing to talk about what you want and why you want it, and by filling your day so full of that sort of conversation, that that surpasses your attention of lack. By just tipping ever so slightly the balance of your scale, your vibrational scale, your vibrational point of attraction. By saying “It is so important to me to feel good, that I will have this conversation with this friend rather than that friend. Because that friend complains all the time, and this friend is happy. By driving this way to work, even though it takes a little more time, because it is more beautiful, and because I can hear the birds. Rather than taking this route to work because it is faster, but all I can hear is the traffic that is surrounding me.”

In other words when it becomes your dominant intent to feel good, you find yourself finding very obvious ways to do things a little bit differently, that stimulate you to vibrate in a way… In other words it’s a vicious circle of joy! Or it is a chain of pain, you can have it either way, you see. But whatever you’re vibrating is what you’re going to attract. And whatever you attract is usually what you perceive. And whatever you perceive is what you vibrate. And whatever you vibrate is what you attract. And whatever you attract is what you perceive, and what you perceive is what… And so that is the way that it works, you see.

And so somewhere along here, you vibrate and you say, “Ugh, this feels bad! I want to feel good.” And just by making the statement “I want to feel good”, a piece of you has spun off that negative wheel, and it started another little wheel over here. Just a piece of you, “I want to feel good”, just by saying I want to feel good, your Inner Being will begin feeding information to you that will surprise and delight you.”

“You want to ignore someone who is missing the point or you will miss the point.”

Instead of arguing with someone who is not getting (or will not get, as of now) the point you are trying to make (or trying to convince someone who refuses to see your point), it’s better to let it go…nothing is worth your feeling good…

Your feeling good has value

four women laughing - Brooke Cagle

All you have to do is feel good and then those who are also feeling good will find their way to you. By trying to get others to like you, by trying to find others who like you and therefore will make you feel better – it’s all such an effort. All you have to do is feel good (in the first place) by using any excuse to feel good predominantly and consistently and then the law of attraction will get more of those who are also feeling the same (i.e. feeling good) predominantly and consistently in your experience. Isn’t that what you want?

“Just find your alignment. Those who are also in alignment will recognize you.”

“Now” is a good moment to make a choice

joy

“There was a point where there was a vision that we’ll get to a certain age, and then we’ll retire and be happy. Now that’s like, that’s being compromised every day. So I think we have to start living happy now and stop waiting for the forty years because by then you’ll be so sick, you wouldn’t enjoy it anyway.”

– Dr. Bruce Lipton
